1. Instead of deep frying samosas in oil, bake them in an air fryer. An air fryer uses hot air to cook samosas and you get the same crispiness as when they are fried in oil.

2. Instead of making the outer pastry or dough with maida, use whole wheat flour which is high on fiber and complex carbs. Fiber helps with weight loss by promoting fullness and preventing overeating.

3. It’s a good idea to cut down the amount of potato in the filling and switch to protein-rich sources like paneer, tofu, chickpeas, chicken, etc. Including a protein source in the samosa would increase feelings of fullness and help curb appetite. Additionally, protein also boosts metabolism and helps to burn calories through the day.
